hi

one of my end user is facing a problem with authorisations.

when he pressed vf02 and pressing the issue output to : then he is getting the following problem

No authorization for printing in sales organization 2000

Message no. VF518

Diagnosis

Due to the settings in your user master record you are not authorized to carry out this activity.

Procedure

Contact your authorization administrator if you need this authorization.

Authorization object:

Activity:

Authorization field ID:

VKORG = Sales organization

ACTVT = Activity

The assignment of authorizations for the individual authorization objects is carried out in Customizing during user maintenance.

Hello Akhil,

There is a catch in this. When your are trying to print through VF02 you need activity 02 . In your case you need activity 02 for auhorization object V_VBRK_VKO. But the interesting thing is that activity 04 is only needed for printing. However with VF02 you need activity 02.

Solution:

Either give activity 02 along with sales organization for V_VBRK_VKO to the user. This will mean he can change billing documents at sales organization level.

Otherwise ask the use to fire prints through VF31. That will need only activity 04 for V_VBRK_VKO. Actually printing activity should be carried out through VF31 and not VF02.

The decision is yours. Depends on you authorization matrix and SOX compliance.

Hi Akhil

You need to go to transaction PFCG and create a new role or edit a current role.

You need to go to Change Authorization Data in PFCG and there you need to click on "Manually" in the menu bar.

There you need to enter the Authorization Object as displayed in SU53 transaction.

Once you add this Object look for it in the below screen for authorizations and then you need to add the Activity and the Authorization Field.

Save the Profile and Generate it.

Perform the User Comparison.

The problem will be solved.
