USOBX - Defines which authorization checks should occur within a transaction and which authorization checks should be maintained in the profile generator. You determine the authorization checks that can be maintained in the profile generator using check indicators. Only the authorization checks that are assigned the indicator “PP” can be maintained in the profile generator.

USOBT - Defines for each transaction and authorization object which default values should be used in the profile generator for the transaction codes entered in a role menu

The customer tables USOBX_C and USOBT_C are initially filled with the contents of these tables and can synchronized at each further upgrade. These tables can be evaluated in the Data Browser (transaction SE16).

To ensure that a user has the appropriate authorizations when he or she performs an action, users are subject to authorization checks.

The following actions are subject to authorization checks that are performed before the start of a program or table maintenance and which the SAP applications cannot avoid:

1 Starting SAP transactions (authorization object S_TCODE)

2 Starting reports (authorization object S_PROGRAM)

3 Calling RFC function modules (authorization object S_RFC)

4 Table maintenance with generic tools (S_TABU_DIS)

USOBT table lists the authorization object which are associated with the Tcode

Through SE16 check the table USOBT and enter the tcode and execute to get the list of authorization objects and their fields.

USOBX lists the object which are maintained, i.e; the objects for which the authorization check happens. The ones marked Y in OKFLAG column are those for which by default auth check happens and with X are those object which are maintained through su24 for authority check
