Hi all,

I am seeing a very starnge behavious in ID. After creating a business service, in the inbound interfaces some of Message Interfaces are missing. I have activated the objects in the IR. So what could be the problem.

Hi sonia,

are you sure that after activation there were no problems in the cache?

Can you check in the Int builder whether there are any cache notifications?

Can you refresh the cache via CPA Cache and via transaction SXI_CACHE?

There are cache notifications but everything is green. But I don't know for which objects I got cache notifications. Is there any article I can read about cache notifications. I had never explored it before.

Hi sonia,

for the cache notifications, and cache in general then have a look at the following notes:

780747 Cache overview displays errors

741214 Troublesh. during cache update of the J2EE CPACache service

806546 XI Troubleshooting Guide --> download the guide from market place.

Anyhow - if it is green is should be ok.

Have you already tried the answer from the previous colleague?

regards,

jaime

Hey Sonia,

in Receiver side, only inbound interfaces will appear.

In Sender side, only outbound ones will appear.

Make sure you are checking in the proper place.

Henrique.

Yeah you are right. I should have seen in the sender side. My mistake. Thanks anyway.

Sonia,

In business service you have to add your interfaces manually. Double click on your business service and then click on + sign and add your interface. If it is business system then you can see all your interfaces if your press F4.

that is what I am saying in the Business Service list which comes up after you press the + sign my interface doesn't show up.

the list of interfaces shown here depends on whether you clicke '+' button in Sender tab or Receiver Tab. Based on this a search criterion is defined and by default it is applied. May be because of this u are not able to see the interface.

Make sure you are clicking '+' in the right tab..

Go to Business service and click on the sender or the receiver tab. then click + and then F4. You should see your interface there if you have activated the IR objects.
