Data Protector 5.5 integration with SAP (Oracle)

Hello,

My configuration is Cell Manager on Windows and SAP (Oracle) on HP-UX (IA-64).

I have some questions:

- is it nessecary to have orapw file or system operating authorization will also work

- how to "add user root to Data Protector user group admin or operator" (from manual), during installation no Data Protector group is created on HP-UX

- using util_sap.exe for integration configuration how should targetdb_connection_string look like (and for which user: orasid or system)

Hi Michal

For DP/SAP Integration to work in your setup (Windows Cell Manager, HP-UX client running SAP) you need Online LTU for UNIX license for the HP-UX box. Can you confirm that you have it? Otherwise you can just do a file system backup of UNIX client.
