Hi Kumar,
You can get the document for configuring SLD in the SMP.
https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/instguides
Here under NW 2004, WebAS, SLD you have the docs.

Hello Kumar,
Please check the following document in SAP Service Marketplace. It has been designed to tackle with some of the questions on system data exchange between SAP Solution Manager and SLD, with an overview on all required steps and guides as well as some tips and tricks.
It also contains answers on how to proceed when the SLD Server is inactive:
http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000538663&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&_OBJECT=011000358700000530282007E, see especially chapter 5. Answers to questions 1 and probably to question 3 (in current document version on slide 7).
I hope this helps to solve your issues.
Best regards,
Doreen
Hi Doreen
Thanks for your information.
In RZ70 i have done the configuration as per the document and i have executed the data collection. It shows following message
Used RFC destination: SLD_UC
RFC call failed: Error when opening an RFC connection
Existing periodic jobs removed. Number: 1
Program scheduled: 20070630 025800
Event-controlled job already exists; scheduling not necessary
In SM59 i have performed the connection test for RFC (SLD_UC). I am getting the error : Program ID not registered.
Please suggest me to proceed further.
Regards
kumar

Hi Kumar,
You need to activate the SLD to have your system landscape data including your SM and satellite systems to be captured.
What are you using your SM system for?

P. Kumaravel.
