Hi Experts,
Is there any special way to change SAPCPIC user's password.
Should I do this through SU01 or should I take care of any thing else so that password change of SAPCPIC won't affect RFC's etc..

Hi,
Please check the SAP SECURITY GUIDES. They have all the latest information you need.
service.sap.com/securityguide
I found this online. The OSS note has some useful information of what reports might get affected- SAP note 29276.However I belive this might be older information.
Better to check the security guides as mentioned above.
In older releases (< 4.0) you could either lock SAPCPIC or change its password (in SU01) without corresponding changes of the hardcoded password (in the listed reports). Or you could also modify the password in the coding to avoid those functional defects.
Since 4.0 you don't need to perform any modifications, the password of user SAPCPIC can be changed without any problem. User SAPCPIC can even be locked or even deleted.
Hope this helps.
