What are the SD reports we generated with the the help of ABAPers? How can we modify existing reports?

Hi Gopal,

There are many Standard SD Reports in SAP. Which are prepared based on the Clients requirments.

Sometimes client requires some specific reports which are not available in standard SAP. so, we can get this reports done with the help of ABAPers.

For this we give the technical consultant a document called Functional Spec, with the help of this Technical Consult will prepare the reports.

We can also get the SD reports with the help of LIS.

Dear Gopala Rao,

You can copy the standard report in to a Z report (Custom report) and modify the same as per your requirement.

Incase if the standard reports are not meeting the requirement of Client, we require to get report develped from the Abaper, as the requirement of the client. It is not recommended to modify Standard report, but if it is 'Z' report, it can be modified as per requirement my providing the logic & table & field details to the Abaper.

Hi Gopala.,

Customer uses standard SAP reports if he wants additional reports apart from the functionality provided we functional people give the specifiction to the technical peole ABAPERS reagrding the report we needed and the tables and fields of the particular repot,With the help of that ABAPERS develop Query reports or they create reports

Some reports we also can generate using LIS
