Hello,
What are the major differences between Solution manager 2.2/3.2/4.0 from the functionality perspective?
Thanks
Sudhan Shan
Hi Sudhan,
Stability and reliability are one of the big changes in the versions.
Further more supportability in Solman4 has really grown, SAP now forces you to realy use it.
I also believe that in the early versions (2.2) no SLD was attached, because it was still in development.
Have a nice day,
Sjoerd Lubbers

Hello Sudhan,
Please find a list of new functionalities of SAP Solution Manager 4.0 in the SAP Service Marketplace (so basically news as compared to SAP Solution Manager 3.2)
<a href="http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000538664&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&_OBJECT=011000358700007159942005E">http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000538664&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&_OBJECT=011000358700007159942005E</a>
Additionally you find updates on the SAP Solution Manager 4.0 functionalities (usually for respective stacks) in the SAP Solution Manager media library, that is right here:
<u></u><a href="http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000538663&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&">http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000538663&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&</a>
Search for documents called "4.0 Support Package Stack [number of SP Stack]" Here you also find selected information on the 3.1 and 3.2 Support Packages.
I hope this helps you in finding the information you are looking for.
Best regards,
Doreen
