DCOM error 80040154

Hi:

When trying to connect to my instance thru the MMC I received the following error:

DCOM interface error 80040154

Class not registered.

On this server we ran the solution manager without a problem, until somebody moved the server physically. The operator shutdown it inappropriately and when he turn it on stopped working.

This only happen with the central instance, the dialog instance seems to be ok.

I already know that this interface is outdated but I don´t see the necessity to change it to .net connector since we don´t have developments in it.

open a dosbox as <SID>adm and run

sapstartsrv.exe -t

try to start MMC after that again.

Hi Peter:

As you say the service did not exist. So I checked again with the command sapstartsrc.exe and the server come to live. I used an invalid user for the first time I ran the command.

I did it as you mention, but the problem persist. Is there any way to reinstall the DCOM interface?

open services.msc and have a look if the Windows service SAP<SID>_no is disabled.
