Dear All,
Presently, we transfer request from DEV to PROD server which is right method.
But Can we transfer request from PROD to DEV and How ?
Pl' reply.
Hi Kishore,
If you find that this is a regular requirement you can make changes to your transport system to allow this movement.
We have a requirment to move BW queries from production to development regularly. You can create a new custom package in production (It can move there as a transport from development) and assign it to a client dependent transport layer and create a route from production to development for the transport layer attached to the custom package in STMS.
Hope this helps.

Nisch

Hi,
We can not transport requests from production to development system.
For production system settings will be set to Not modifiable in SE03 and the client settings will be No changes to repository and croos client customising objects and the protection level will be set to 2.
If you change these settings to devlopment settings and then you can do the transport.
In my point of view there no such concept of movinf transports from PRD to DEV.
Thanks,
Suraj

Hello Kishore,
Please follow the method suggested by Ben though it should be an exception and not a rule.
