Dear Venkat,

To use the Pendulum List, you have to make various settings in Customizing.

You have to make individual settings under the following topics:

General settings:

*Role Assignments

*Origin indicator

*Interface control

*Maintain Document types for indirect orders

*Maintain Status table

*Control definitions

*Transport control definitions

*Transport control definitions 2

Output control:

*Maintain Higher-level Sales organization

*Maintain Sales organization for output

*Maintain Output media

*Maintain Output files and directories

Period definition:

*Period control

*(For the period control, you do not make any individual settings)

*Period split

*Period groups

*Period view

*Period table

Procedure:

1. To Assign roles:

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Role Assignments.

The Change View "Role assignment Pendulum list": Overview screen appears.

To create new assignments, choose New entries. To change existing entries, you can

*delete entries

*copy entries

*undo changes.

Provide values in Key(s) AAD, Key Customer, Key Object, Key Distributor.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

2. Defining the origin Indicator:

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Origin indicator.

The Change View "Customizing Key access by origin/Pendulum list": Overview screen appears.

Provide values for Origin, Description, Check Function module, Selec. Function module.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

3. Interface Control: Assigning Function Modules

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Interface control.

The Change View "Interface Pendulum list": Overview screen appears.

Provide values for Key(s), Function Module.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

4. Creating Document Types for Indirect Orders

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum list -> General Settings -> Maintain Document types for indirect orders.

The Change View "Maint. of the doc. types for indirect order": Overview screen appears.

Provide values for Sales org., Distr. channel, Division, Indicator, Sales doc.type, Condition type Gross, Condition type Net, ICat Sales, Item category ZQty, Item categ. G/N, Item categ. Returns.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

5. Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Maintain Status table.

The Change View "Maintain Status – Pendulum list": Overview screen appears.

To enter new statuses, choose New entries.

The New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen appears.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

6. Defining Control Data

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Control definitions.

The Customizing Pendulum list screen appears.

Choose the Confirmat. tab index.

Enter data as required. (Number of backups to be created, Error ID Import master data, Copy incorrect sales in file, Default Unit Sales Entry, Default Currency Sales Entry, Default Period ID Entry, max. percent permiss. errors Sales entry, max. percent Permiss. errors Master data entry, Type of file to be created P/S/B)

Save your entries.

7. Defining Function Modules to Determine Partner Functions

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Control definitions.

The Customizing Pendulum list screen appears.

Choose the Partner funct. tab index.

Enter data as required. (Determine Sold-to Party, Determination Part.funct.Indirect Cust., Determination Part.funct. of object, Determination Part.funct. of Distrib.)

Save your entries.

8. Defining Forms

Starting from the SAP Reference IMG, choose:

Contract Handling -> Pendulum List -> General Settings -> Control definitions.

The Customizing Pendulum list screen appears.

Choose the Forms tab index.

Enter data as required.

Save your entries.

Pendulum List need to be filled in Easy Access I guess...

Do you think we should change all the settings mentioned as per your above mail.?

Dear Venkat,

Configuration is done using Implementation Guide(IMG) - Transaction SPRO.

You would need do the configuration and then use transactions from EASY ACCESS.
