hello friends ,

when i am trying to post the material in /nmb1c it is saying that "period 005/2007 is not open for ac type s and g/l account 399999. But i closed the periods inmmpv till 05/2007. and did it very cleary.

So ,please help me out in this issue.

Hello friends i did all closing as per your suggestion.

while posting the material in mb1c it is showing "005/2007 is not opened". Then as per your suggestion i closed in ob52.....and it is showing the same error.

Hi Ramu,

Goto to t.code OBBP and check wheather u assigned posting period variant to ur company code.If not assign it.

Hi Ramu,

You need to correct the settings in the t-code OB52 to solve the problem.

For value in first coloumn check the company code to which the plant is assigned and then check posting period variant that is assigned to the company company code.

Second column is 'S' the account type in your message.

Also change the setting for account type '+'.

Better take help from FI consultant.

Hi Ramu,

Posting Material Error:

As you are saying MMPV is already executed for your company code with month and year, please use OB52 T-code.

Check the from month and to month along with the year from and to. Select your G/L Account as well as your company code and account type.

Open the periods as per your wish and save it.
