Acknowledgement to Source System

Hi All,

If the outbound message coming into Xi is failed due to any problem in Middleware(XI) or due to the wrong message structure that was sent by the source system is there a way to send the negative acknowledgement to the source system asking to resend the message again.

any kind of solution which solves the problem is appriciable

Messages can be restarted in XI , if there is an issue with XI. Both Automatically and manually. Refer this blog,

For Asynch messages as a standard current release of XI do not support this. There are multiple work around's possible, but, as a standard the answer would be No.
