Illegal Dependencies while adding DCs across SCs in same track

Hello,

We are trying to add a DC_B (DC name) which is in SC_B, in the DC_A which is in SC_A. Both SCs are in same track. While adding in Used DCs its giving error "Illegal dependency: The compartment of package name(SCname...) must explicitly use compartment of ...".

We have added standard SCs

sap.com_SAP_JTECHS_1

sap.com_SAP-JEE_1

sap.com_SAP_BUILDT_1

sap.com_EP_BUILDT_1

in SC of DC_A. in usage dependencies of SC_A

Do we need to add SC_B in usage dependencies of SC_A ?

I dont think so because my other components are working fine in same scenario.

Please help. Am i missing anything?

Hi Nikhil,

You need to add SC_B as a used dependency in SC_A like you did for the standard one's.

Yes, you need to define SC B as a build time Usage Dependency for SC A.
