Error in internationalization of WebDynpro Applications

Hi all,

I am trying the standard pdf for internationalization available on SDN "Internationalization of Web Dynpro applications" . This application should show the screen in german(DE) and english (EN) version.

I am able to follow all the steps successfully and the issue is that when I deploy the application it is getting displayed in English only. I have also added the German as a primary language in Internet Options->Languages. Still no idea where i am wrong?

If I use the standard package given with the tutorial it is working absolutely fine, I am working on the Init package given with the tutorials.

HI Justin,

try to set webdynpro application property DefaultLocale to the desired language and test.

Hi Justin,

Web Dynpro language changes require a bounce of the J2EE Engine, try that...

What are the names of the xlf files. ?

the names of the files end in _de.xlf for german and _en.xlf for english.
