Webdynpro and SAP logon ticket

I'm fairly new to webdynpro. ..I'm trying to figure out how to call RFCs/Bapis using logon ticket instead of hardcoded user/password. "help.sap.com" documenation says it's possible without farther details.

Anybody out there having it working it already?

Probably there is a way like in SAP Internet Sales (is based on J2EE also) using web.xml startup file???

Hi there,

pressure arrived.

First of all: you cannot do it with the sneak preview.

Security has grown a lot since then and I'm really not through with it. However it will be possible to do this, by configuring the system in the right way. Configuring web.xml will be only the smallest part. You have to set up the complete system to do such things.

For webdynpro for example this results in configuring JCO connections for the app on the server.

But wait and see.
