i want to generate a macro in DP book which will give me the net forcast by substracting the actual billing from the expected forcast..as a key figure.
i had done this by simply entering a mathematical function that difference between the two rows but it is not showing the value in the table
please guide me for macro creation
regards
Kiran
Can you reproduce the macro code here???
Check if your time period of the Macro main step and the iterative steps are in the correct period.
I suppose you had no errors when you generated the macro

The above is replica of macro in Which Forcast netting is the macro created
revert back if any query
The DRILL_DOWN action needs to be done only once (change the no. of iterations to 1 - just current bucket) and then try executing the macro.
Also the DRILL_DOWN action is part of a macro which in turn has to be in a collective macro. Please check macro "Drill down on product" in SAP example and template macros planning book.
Check the macro "Col macro: Drilldown, Calc, Drillup" for example of a Collective macro in "SAP Example and Template Macros (Part 2)" planning book.
Thanks,
somnath
