Hi Experts,

I have removed 18 GB from Logical Volume vol13 (#/dev/vg01/lvol13 /sapcd) in fstab. Now I want to allocate this space in /oracle/DEV/sapdata4.

How to add this free 18 GB in sapdata4 ? The Logical Volume which I have removed also resides in same logical volume vg01.

Pl. guide me.

Yusuf

If it's not solved then why don't you ask in the proper forum. This is not a security question.

Hi

You can use this space by moving the datafile to the new location by the help of Brtools.

Then the new datafiles would be created in the new location.

Please read this link

Thanks
