I am a software developer, I wanted to know SAP, What is SAP all about? Where will I start? Please help

Hi, Where will I download the ABAP software, so that I can try it and learn at the same time?Does this have documentation, or a PDF file maybe on how to do the programming?

hi glenn,

just try this ,

in ABAP at command field,

provide transaction code 'abapdocu' then enter

there u can see all the sample codes from begining which can help to learn ABAP step by step.
