mad, mape error

Hi,

i have a problem regarding errors generated after forecasting.how we analyze mape,mad etc & how we calculate the errors baseing on fcst?

Hi Chini.

In forecasting, dp will use each and every calculated figure in the ex-post forecast to compare against the actual data (e.g., Sales History) to calculate a figure for forecast error.

Standard formulas are used to calculate MAD, MAPE or which ever method is selected. The formulas can be found in help.sap.com:
