Hi

Please give details of "file type , transfer mode i.e processing paremeters "when using file adapter

Rao,

<i><b>file type</b></i> : If you have any special characters in your file then you should specify it as Binary. If you are getting a text file with no special characters then I would go with the text option. Also XML text documents generally contain their own code page description and should be treated as Binary data type.

<i><b>Transfer Mode</b></i> : I will give the same answer as above. But this you will mention in your receiver communicaiton channel.

Hi Rao,

When using the sender file adapter the file processing parameters:

1.Quality of service

2.Poll Interval

3.Processing mode

4.Processing sequence

5.Operating system command

Each of these have different options.Depending on ur requirement u have to choose.

For receiver file adapter:

1.Target directory

2.File name schema

3.File construction mode

4.File type

5.File encoding

Similar is the case with receiver file adapter,depending on ur requirement u have to choose.
