Hi All

I m facing a problem in Spool generation. When spool requests are generated it goes to status 'Error' when i see it in SP01. I have checked the device status from SPAD and also spool processor from SM51.

What should i do now?

Thanks n Regards

Hi,

It's good you checked but tell what was the statement over there. Was some error existing.

What did the log files read.

Spool might fail even coz the network issue. It mentioned in the log files.

Hi

From the log it is clear that the File System is full. But i want to know that then why some of the requests get the status 'Completed'. All the requests should show the 'Error' status.

Any idea.

hello Shshank,

Do you have mutiple instances on the VRP system?

It might be that the file system for only one or some instances is full and for some others file space is there. So when printing is happening on those instances spools are coming in completed status.

Please check this and let us know.

Hi Ruchit

Yes, u are right. We are having two instances here and the file system for one instance is full while printing for other instance is OK.

Thanks for ur response.

Hello Shshank,

Then in this case please schedule the job for spool reorganization on the instance where file space is free. I would strongly recommend not to delete things directly at OS level.
