Hi
I am having some issues with a Tape drive. I have checked with NTBACKUP and it works perfectly fine however when i try doing a backup of the database using DB13 I get a error message reading "Unable to initialize the ASPI manager". I have made the necessary changes in the initprd.ora file. I have changed the backup destination to tape from DISK in there.
Please find the screenshot (Textfile of the error) here

as per Note 46923 - Message: Unable to initialize ASPI manager, you can ignore the error but there may be another error which is causing the problem.
what is the configuration in initSID.sap?
Cheers,
