Error in deployment

Hi Experts,

I am trying to deploy a webdynpro application to the WAS, but it gives me an error saying

Deployment aborted........

"Deployment exception : Server <server Name> did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50018 - Cannot log in. There are already active sessions:

Session id 103 / An administrator logged in via GUI / "

Please tell me what can be the error

Ranveer,

This type of error comes when you have also logged into the same WAS with Remote GUI (SDM),

Please check with your administrator,

log out from the SDM Remote GUI, and then try again,

Hope you will be able to deploy,

Thanks for the reply, you are right, Remote GUI was running,

and now after logging off, I am able to deply.

But Can you please tell me why can't we deploy when SDM has logged in through Remote GUI,

Do we have some configuration setting that prevents us to deploy when SDM user has already logged in.

I think for SDM only one active session is permitted for a user,

that is why it does not allow to deply when it is already logged in through batch file RemoteGUI.bat,

Because when you deploy directly it is nothing but the same SDM user, which is used to login through GUI
