Hi all,

I am configuring CMS in EP7.0

i am getting the below error when i am creating Track data

can any body please help me on this issue

CBS (URL http://<host name>:<port>/tc.CBS.Appl/archiveapi2/) authorization exception: CBS Server Error: The user does not have the authorization for the requested operation( internal code: USR_MISSING_PRIVILEGE)

Hi All,

please doublecheck the note if you have general NWDI authorization issues:

Were you able to get this resolved?

I am getting the same error.

CBS (URL http://host:port/tc.CBS.Appl/archiveapi2/) authorization exception: User not authorized to log into build server. ( Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"http://host:port/CBSWebService/CBSHttpSOAP?style=rpc" )

Any of you were able to solve the issue? we are having the same problem.

Hi Kishore

A user assigned to the CBS administrator role should also have the J2EE Engine Administrator rights. Have u assigned all CBS Administrators users to the J2EE Administrator group as well.

Hi Kunal,

i am configuring the CMS with user J2ee_admin, the j2ee_admin is already assigned to J2EE administrator group............any other hints

Hi Kishore,

the user should have jdi.developer role, which is an ume role with actions, cbs.developer, cms.display and cms.export.

Where you logged on as user Admin?
