How to speed-up/optimize a Web DynPro application

Former Member

Hello,

This is a general question.

I am looking for ways to optimize a DynPro application using it's specific configuration or the WAS's configuration. I am aware that the configuration depends on the nature of the applications, how many users it servers, what exactly does it do ect.

But, I am sure that there are configuration tunings that can be done through the DynPro/WAS console.

If anyone is familiar with a specific configuration or have a referance to SAP's documents regarding this issue I will be happy to hear about it.

Regards,

Roy

Hallo Roy,

besides the listed KW-Help-links you should also have a look at the following two documents.

1) SDN article describing best practices on <a href="href=https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/webdynpro/how%20to%20configure%20the%20jco%20destination%20settings.pdf">How to Configure the JCo Destination Settings</a>

2) SDN article describing an effective usage of Adaptive RFC Models (Do's and Don'ts): <a href="href=https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/webdynpro/effective%20web%20dynpro%20-%20adaptive%20rfc%20models">Effective Web Dynpro - Adaptive RFC Models</a>
