ECC 6 - complete sales delivery docs to APO 4.0

We recently upgraded to ECC 6. We also use APO 4.0.

There seems to be a difference in the way the warehouse management (WM) system confirms SD transfer orders (setting delivery docs as complete) between (1) transaction LM00 (used by mobile barcode scanners) and (2) LT24.

The result is that completed delivery docs (actioned through the scanners using standard SAP console) are not being removed from APO - there by understating the available stock on hand. LT24 completes the docs fine.

The way to clear these "open" sales docs is through the APO delta report.

Any ideas what the difference would be?

Glen,

APO would be updated based on the status/information on deliveries and inventory. It looks like atleast one of the following scenarios in your case are failing to do all the updates. You have to check your transfer order confirmation from

1) LT12 or LT24 (display TO for mat.)

2) LM00/LM05 from SAP GUI

3) LM00/LM05 from Webconsole

Make sure that it works fine in atleast one of the cases above and log a OSS message to SAP customer service on other cases. It is possible that LT12 behaves differently then LM00/LM05 from GUI which again can give different result from LM00/LM05 from SAP Webconsole as these are three independent programs serving same functionality. It is also possible that your versions of the GUI patch etc., don't match the requirement for the other.

Hi Glen,

Firstly

(1) I dont know how many have upgraded to ECC 6.0 as it is fairly new

(2) The mobile barcode scanning concept might be available in few companies

(3) Even if it is available, I doubt only few of them might be using in conjunction with APO-4.0 which is an older version

Lets see If anyone of us can help you in this matter.
