returns problem

Hi all,

i have a prob in returns

Scenario: i have two line items say X and Y both have item cat TAN but the customer will return the material Y(always). so am doing returns order and then invoice. my problem is i want to make returns del. not possible, for that reason i can keep delivery block in the sales order but i want the system should auromatically block it for delivery.

how to make this possble? plz advice

Hi Anil.

Have you tried delivery block in shipping details for sales doc. type RE in VOV8 ?

If not, just go to VOV8 --> select RE --> In shipping details, enter delivery block reason.

You can block delivery automatically.

tell your problemm clearly.. Y material you want to block for delivery...bcoz he is returning regularly... or tell me clearly..

hi Ram,

we send two materials but of which one is returnable( but we sell this material as genral sale only but the customer will return it)

in case i make delivery block in VOV8 it will also effect the std return process so i want another way of blocking it for delivery. also it can be blocked from schedule line level it that is right tell me how to block it and more over it should not effect the std sales or returns process.

if required i can make another schedule line or item cat. plz advice.

wat you can do is define one new item category for y material ZREN, and dont check RETURNS in item category ZREN, os its will not get picked while doing retirns process...
