Hello,

Go through the below link, it is self expalnatory.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/02/96279d538111d1891b0000e8322f96/content.htm

Roll-in failed is normally due to memory problem, you have to check why the user is consuming lots of memory making the sesson to terminate, also check whether any other process also does this. Because sometimes someother process might occupy the roll buffer and in turn the other work processes might fail.

Please think twice before changing any of the memory related parameters, because they might cause some unwanted problems in the system.

Check the memory consumption in ST02 for all the memory buffers in concern.

please check the dev trace (workprocess trace) and abap dumps as well for more info

Note 867582 - Sporadic roll-in errors in high load situations

Note 556009 - Crash in the ABAP roll-in

checkout if there is any core dump happening

Note 838305 - Core dump in work processes after roll-in

check the kernal patch upgrade ,

whts kernal patch level u r at right now ?

Thank you for the reply.

The error was being faced by one of the system user; the error is the first of its kind which was reported since a year.

Currently we're on Kernel Patch number : 133.

I don't think it's the problem with Kernel patch.

Can you please help me to investigate further on this roll-in error.

Just to add to the above information:

Kernel release 700, patch 133

It may be a temporary problem, but I'd like to investigate further into this issue.

Does any of the memory parameter value is to be changed for such problems?

Hi, I was just curious. We are getting a lot of Roll_in error and also some core dumps. I was trying to look at note 556009 but is is not release. Do you have more details for me reguarding that type of error.

Thanks
