Retry option after JMS and RFC adapter failure. Kindly help

Hi All,

I have JMS -> RFC scenario. The RFC call is Async.

I have following questions with respect to retry option in the event of adapter failure:

1. In the event of RFC connection failure due to remote R/3 system being down will the JMS adapter send the message again after some time? How does the JMS behave in this case? Will it automatically try some 3 or 4 times? What happens if the RFC connection is still down even after 3 attempts? Where is the number of attempts or retry option configured? Can this retry option be changed?

How will the RFC adapter behave in such cases?
