Hello,
We are in SRM 5.0 with no portal. We have SUS and by far the more important scenario is plan driven procurement. We also use CUA for creating users in SRM and other SAP systems but not in SUS. SUS and EBP are in separate clients.
We also use bidding engine extensively. I am looking at ways to make this as easy as possible for suppliers.
1) Can I use SUS user management to create users in bidding engine. Here the problem , I see is that there is CUA for creation of users in SRM. Is this scenario supported? If I don't want replication of all SUS users to Bidding Engine, what is the transaction, I can use for this replication?
2) Can I create a role in SUS where the target system is SRM. Will this make the user logon again to the bidding engine?
3) What are the license implications? In these scenarios, are there licenses required for SUS and Bidding engine?
Greatly appreciate any inputs.
Regards,
Bejoy Narayana
Hi Narayana,
You can create users and assign role to respective users in SUS for creating
Bids in Bidding starting form SUS.
But you must replicate users from SUS to EBP.
Then only systems will identify each other while logging.
