Excise invoice is not saving

When I am going to save the excise invoice by using t-code j1iin.

the following error comes

Error updating table J_1IPART2.

what may be the solution.

Hi Ramachandra.

That mean Part2 posting is not happening in relevant RG register for excise transaction type create excise invoice.

Have you maintained the following setting :

assign G/L accounts for excise transaction types and Excise groups.

Check the assignments of G/L's here.

Ask your FI consultant if this setting is missing.

I checked all the settings what uo told but not yet solved . I have dout in serial number updating and I gone t code snum. pls can you give me the what is the object for serial number and what may be the other possible solutions for this.

Also check up in T-code SM13 is there are any errors viz. Duplicate records
