Guys,
From ECC to APO, I want to send across all materials which are marked as Procurement Type "E" in the material master's MRP 2 view.
But standard CIF Integration model does not support to select materials with Procurement Type (in CFM1 Transaction there is no "Procurement Type" selection.)
Does anybody know how to create the field "Procurement Type" in the integration model, that means how to get an enhanced Integration Model which will contain customised fields.
Thanks
Kumar
There is nothing wrong with using a new defined field for selection...
I have used it several times...

Kenneth and all others in the loop,
I have gone thru the OSS Note. It is a good OSS note and shd. solve the purpose.
In fact in Go-live hurry, I have cretaed a customized ZCFM1 transaction where in I have included the desired additional fileds which are not available in standard CFM1.
So I am closing this call.
Thanks for this support - Kumar
Hi Kumar,
The standard CIF functionality will not provide the flexibility of choosing the material based on the Proc type. Pls use the userexit:LXCIFU01 to put in the required filter for the materials to be CIFed to APO.

It can be done- You can add a new selection option. However I would recommend not to disturb the Original CFM1 Screen.
Instead write a wrapper program which does the simple query and writes the values in the TVARVC Variables.
You can use the TVARVC variable in the CFM1 variant.
So Whenever you run the CFM1 in a batch job
You would have to run the WRAPPER PRogram as the first step and then the second step would be to run the CFM1.
Let me know If you need details of the wrapper program.
