Workflow e-mails

We have requirement of sending e-mails when a approver gets a work item in his inbox. We afre using n-step BADI and also we have set the task as general task. Is there any other setting that needs to be done?

Hi,

You need to do two things...

In the Org. Plan, set the attribute "Flag: Forward Work Item" (FORWARD_WI) to "X" for the Approver. I would set this at the highest level and have everyone inherit the setting.

Next you need to run reports RSWUWFMLEC (or RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP in SRM 5.0+) and RSCONN01. Report RSWUWFMLEC created hte e-mail and RSCONN01 send the e-mail out (via SCOT). Run these manually at first ot test, but later schedule to run periodicaly.
