HTTP Response 404, Forbidqden Error 403

Hi

We are unable to receive any messages into Integration server. Following are the error messages in log viewer and in the Tool Test Configuration in the Integration Directory.

<u>Log Viewer</u>

<b>"Transmitting the message to the endpoint http://piserv33:50100/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to : com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecovarableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found."</b>

<u> Tool Test Configuration </u>

<b>Sender Agreement

<Not found>

<Trace level="1" type="B">SENDER AGREEMENT SIMULATION</Trace>... (5 lines)

Receiver Determination

<Not found>

Internal Error

HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden URL: http://piserv33:8001/sap/xi/simulation?sap-client=001 User: PIDIRUSER </b>

Any pointers to solve this will be of great helpful.

System is PI 7.0.

goto transaction SICF ( XI System)... press F8 ... open node :sap>xi>Simulation.. activate this service that is simulation... your error would be resolved...

similarly activate the service " adapter_plain" aswell for further usage

can u define which scenario are u following,, ???

I mean RFC//FTP/XI etc.

the forbidden error is due to simulation service,, while the other error seems to be due to configuration problem in scenario,.,, if u can provide some more detail about ur scenario,, may be we can be of more help

Hi,

follow those steps:

1) check SLD -> Business landscape

click on your XI system and check Pipeline URL. It should be something like:

http://<XI host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

the default port is 8000

2) check also in Administration -> Exchange Profile -> Connections and choose:

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.httpport

it should be 8000 (in the case of default settings)

3) Refresh SLD cache.

Hello Anandan,

the reason for this error is a missing active service in transaction sicf-->

look at note 858049

Once you have activated the service, the error should not appear any more.

Hi,

1) Activated all services

2) In Integration builder, receiver communication channel make sure you have entered proper

host service number

path = /sap/xi/enigne?type = receiver.

3)Go to SU01 > type PIISUSER and reset the user's pw
