Sourcing Cockpit - Hold button Question SRM 5.0

I am interested in knowing more about the Add to Work Area and Hold Button in Sourcing cockpit. We are on SRM 5.0 SP4

1) Does the Hold button hold a requirement for that session (until you log off) or indefinitely until you remove from work area

My Comment a

a) When I do this test in our Q environment it does not Hold at all if I move to another link even within the same session.

b) When the user does in prod it does hold it past that session (atleast that is what I am hearing)

2) Just Add to Workarea without Hold button

I guess this is to hold it until the session end. Clarify.

Looks for me and some other users the "Hold" button doesn't work at all

I am looking for a couple of things

1) What is the actual behavior supposed to be ?

2) Any SAP Notes that will fix the problem

The question is is the Hold button supposed to

1) Hold indefinitely until either worked on or Removed from work area

or

2) Only until the session end

Yes.. Ideally it should be work as soon as you click on it and no need to hold it indefinitely.

Seems to be a bug in the system, report this to SAP, by opening a Customer OSS message at the earliest.
