System log , Database logs & ABAP dumps deletion

Hi All,

I would like to know how to delete Old systemlogs, Database logs & ABAP Dumps.

Is there any standard program to run.

Hi All,

I got the answer, See below programs

There are standard programs are built by SAP for deletion of logs, dumps , jobs Etc...

Program name Use

...................... ........

RSSNAPDL To delete ABAP dumps

RSBTCDEL To delete Old background jobs

RSPO0041 To delete Spool errors

RSBDCREO To delete Batch inputs

RSBPSTDE To delete Job statastics

RSM13002 To delete Update errors

Actually nobody will delete logs manually, they will create a background job with particular programs ( as mentioned above) and there is a frequency to delete the logs according to their company standards.
