IMG-configuration

Hello!

I am searching for a guide describing in detail all the steps for IMG-configuration within SAP Solution Manager after the installation of SAP Solution Manager 4.0.

Unfortunately I have not found such information in traditional user Guides from service.sap.com.

It will be great to get any information regarding that ...

Is there some .pdf-document?

Hi! Thank you for your answer.

I have to install and to cofigure SAP Solution Manager 4.0.

Especially ABAP-Part (Tr. SPRO) IMG is of great interest to me.

Unfortunately the SAP Guides do not have such information

My further question is: Do you, whether it possible to get the SAP course materail of SAP Solution courses e.g. SM100.

It would be great, if you can help out.

Thank you, BUT:

1) I do not have any access to the existing SAP Solution Manager

2) all the steps are not trivial (for example RFC-connection)

Hello Axel,

If you have not access to a solman system in this case I would suggest to go to service.sap.com/rkt-solman

and see the iTutors from there, in these .sim files you will see step by step how to create the RFC connection for example from SMSY under Technology consultant role for example.

and other.

This will be the best way to learn about solman.

Hi Axel,

There is not this guide, sorry! but I can tell you that the IMG point to configure the solman system are really good explained, so you only need to follow steps by step in order to get the standard functionality working.
