JDI Configuration - Imports Still Running

Former Member

Per the track configuration steps, I have started the import of the SAP_JTECHS, SAP_BUILDT, and SAP-JEE. The status has never changed from import running. After running overnight, I believed there was a problem. After the restart, the status has not changed.

Has anyone had the status update to finish? If yes, how much time did it take? How I can end this status and redeploy? GUI will not let me take action on these.

Hi Stephen,

I´ve also run into this problem twice.

The first time I fixed it by /webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc.CBS.WebUI/WebUI).

Select your buildspace, press edit and change the input mode.

If these two solutions don´t help have a look at the log files which are located in /usr/sap/JTrans/CMS/log/[buildspace name].

The logs are also available from CMS: select your import queue item and select "details". From here you can view the log files.

Hope that helps

Helmut

Hi Stephen, could you solve your problem?

I have the same problem: I want to import the three SCs. But this never comes to an end.

I use SP11 - before this problems never occured.

There is an open request in my CBS Queue (Init_compartment).

I cannot start it - maybe that has something to do with the problem?

Thanks for help,

It shouldn't take very long at all - a few minutes at most. You might check to make sure the import files are in the proper directory. Or, you might consider deleting your current track and creating a new one.
