Hi,

I am doing 04 to 04s upgradation. The target release(04s) must have an equivalent or higher SP level than the source release(04). Currently i am having SP20 in 04.

Can anyone tell me what will be the equivalent SP in 04s? Note no 86672 is having information on that but its not up to date. Please help!

Thanks!

Hi Sanjith,

The details are as follows:

SP18( 04) goes with SPS09( 04s)

SP17( 04 ) goes with SPS08( 04S).

Similarly it goes up. SPS12 is help up for the release coz some issues with it.

Hope this answers your query.

Hi Manthosh,

Thanks for the reply.

As per the note 866472 I could find that they are not following any such sequences. Please see the highlighted portion.(SP19 goes with SP11 not SP10)

SAP NetWeaver 04 (6.40) SAP NetWeaver 04s (7.00)

Hi,

That's true. Normally they will folllow the sequence, but it's not mandatory. It all depends upon the time of the release of the two builds.

Whatever info you have is right.

Mark the question as answered if you feel your query is replied.

Hi Sanjith,

The note 866472, is not yet updated, but I think that you will have to use the SPS12 NW04s in your case. Unlucky the release of the SPS12, has been postponed again.

Short answer, but keep an eye on the planning...

Good luck.
