Hi,

During the intial setup when you are supposed to fill in the parameters for the SAP installation, there is an option to move the data files (SAPDATA1 etc) from one location to another. You need to specify a different drive for some of your SAP datafiles.

Once you do this hopefully your installation will succeed.

The error is clear, you have 40 Gb of free space but SAPINST needs more:

ERROR 2024-05-15 12:53:45

MOS-01109 Needed space on mountpoint F:/ is 5.248e07 KB, but got only 4.26433e07 KB.

You can see how the space will be distributed:

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata1 is 8.45e+06 KB.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata2 is 8.8e+06 KB.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata3 is 9.2e+06 KB.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata4 is 1e+07 KB.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata5 is 8e+06 KB.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata6 is 8.03e+06 KB.

8.45 + 8.8 + 9.2 + 10 + 8 + 8.03 = 52.48

Solution, add more space. Or locate a couple of SAPDATA in a different location

add disk space or change your disk to a bigger one...

or delete unused stuff on F: drive

or ask your SAN team to add disk space (if this is a SAN disk)

Chk via sapdba or Oracle enterprise manager that whther u need to extend those tablespaces which contains these datafiles.

Needed space in directory F:\oracle\ERP/sapdata1 is 8.45e+06 KB.
