Product hierarchy

Hi

We have SRM connected to 2 backend system.Can I know the process of creating product hierarchies.

Also if there are 2 back end systems should I create 2 sub hierarchies like R3MATCLASSSAP1 (for 1st R/3) and R3MATCLASSSAP2 ( for 2nd R/3)

or is it enough I group everything under standard R3MATCLASS

Hello,

The product hierarchies from two respective backends should not have problem to be grouped under R3MATCLASS.

If you replicate your customizing objects(matl grps) from the resp backend

these should be autogenerated

Hi,

Also check the table CRMMLSGUID. You may have to remove the logical system entry from this for the queues to clear. After running the objects a new node is created for matclass and prodtype.
