SLD Authorization not working.

We are facing a problem in our project. when we login into XI with the user having a role SAP_SLD_GUEST, we are not able to view the SLD related information. The links for the Products, Software components, Technical and business systems are disabled. Could someone help?

Hi,

To view those information the user through which you have logged in should have certain roles.

Create a role called <b>lcradministrator</b>.

Assign all <b>lcr*</b> actions to this role.

Then assign this role to the user which you are using.

Also go to Visual admin and set the <b>HTTP settings</b>.

This has to be done under the tab <b>SLD Data Supplier</b>

After this is done you will be able to View all the links.

use j2ee_admin user to logon to your sld.
