Hi surya,
As far i could understand from ur post,You have installed only the Java stack, right?
Java stack doesn't have T-codes to create users.
You got to teh index page,as you said,
<b>http://localhost:port or http://IPadress:port.</b>;
GO to <b>User Management</b> link.
By default <b>administrator user</b> will be created during installation, and password will be the <b>master password</b>,whatever you would have given during insatllation.
when user credentials are asked for, when you click User managemnet,
give user: <b>administrator and</b> password:master password of installation.
Then you will go the UME page.
Right at the top left corner, you get a <b>create</b> option.
you can create user, roles and groups.
You can assign roles, groups to users and viceversa.
reward points if useful............

Surya,
Have you installed an ABAP stack also ? If not, you'll have to define the users using the User Management Console, NetWeaver Administrator or the Visual Administrator.

Hi,
The NW 2004S uses a Integrated ITS. So to use the transaction SE80 in your abap stack. There navigate to Utilities -> Settings. Scroll to Internet Transaction server. There below the Integrated ITS you will find the <WAS_SERVER> and <port>.
Then to directly access transaction SU01
http://<WAS_SERVER>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?~transaction=SU01 and then login.
or
http://<WAS_SERVER>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/? login and then key in the transaction.
Any issues do revert back.
Thanks & Regards,
Vijith
