Logon error messages

Hello Everyone,

I allready created a thread of this question on Netweaver AS, JAVA, but nobody seems to know the answer. I'm placing it here, in case someone from webdynpro knows how to do this.

I would like to change the error messages that appear when logging on to the J2EE portal (if the password is wrong, for example, or if it's outdated). I think this is must be done somewhere in the portal configuration, but i'm not sure. I allready searched the help sap library, but i'm a bit lost. Where and how can i do this ? thank you in advance for your help.

I forgot to add this information: the portal is using the same users (and user authentication) as the sap R3, by asking "user-password" exactly equal to the ones asked in SAP R3.

By the way, Maksim (or someone else),

Is there a character limitation to those Login messages ?

I don`t think so, but it is better to try. Your UI may look ugly with long message but I don`t think there is any technical limitations.
