Hi
I want to perform a system copy of MSSQL 7.0 & SAP 4.7. There is some problem in the database as while applying the patches we got a error in XPRA_EXECUTION phase saying SAP Database property and SQL Server property dont matched. This is the error:
-
System is giving the following error in the XPRA_EXECUTION phase:
SQL error 446: Cannot resolve collation conflict for equal to ope
Errors occurred during post-handling MSS_SDBP_AFTER_IMP for SDBP L
The errors affect the following components:
BC-DB-MSS (Microsoft SQL Server)
-
What I want to knw is what are the possible solutions to the above problem?
I have already read most of the notes realted to that and also got a solution from SAP?
But i would like to knw ur opinions about this issue. Also some steps to be carried out for import/export using SAP 4.7 for SQl would be helpful.

Hello Chin2,
please note that SAP 4.7 Enterprise is not supported on SQL Server 7.0. You have to use either SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005.
The error and its solution are discussed in note 1019320 (collation mismatch between the SAP database and system databases).
Hope this helps,
Christian
