Use iViews of Content?

Former Member

Hi there,

I have found some interesting iViews in the Portal Content.

My question is: how can i use them within my models?

I think I need the gml-file corresponding to those iViews or not?

With best regards

Mark

The iViews that you would like to use, how were they written ? Are you sure they were created with visual composer?

Hi Adrian,

Honestly? I have no idea how they were made.

In the Portal under:

Portal Administration - Portal Content - Admin Content - System Administrators - iViews

are some "monitoring iViews", which are nice and was wondering how I could integrate them in a VC application.

What I mean is that I have some buttons and beneath some of them are iViews I made and behind others are iViews of the Content.

Hi Mark,

you can integrate them in your VC applications by using a html view. Then enter the URL of the iViews.

Hi Marcel,

Well, thanks. That is a good idea. The URL is displayed when I open the iView with my browser. Is there another spot where I can obtain the proper URL?

Hi Mark,

if they were created with Visual Composer then there should exist a model and gml file then you can use it in VC. But if the iViews e.g. default MDM iViews then there are no gml files.
