RZ10

When I go into RZ10 and attempt to change a Profile a new version always gets created is this correct?

Also once I have added new parameters and I go to look at them in SMICM --> Goto --> Parameters --> Display

I dont see my new parameters... Does anyone know where I am going wrong and maybe a how to guide or webblog explaining how to use RZ10?

Hi,

Tcode --> RZ10 --> select Instance Profile --> choose Extended Maintanance radio button

--> Click on Change

If you want to edit , find the parameter ( click on find button on menu enter the parameter eg:abap/buffersize) and click on change and enter the new value. If you didnt find the parameter you need to add, click on Prameter ( on menu ) and add the parameter and the value.Then click on Copy and save then activate

U have to stop and start sap to take these in effect
