Hello Experts-
I have noticed that when I delete models in my Web Dynpro Java projects and re-deploy these projects onto the WAS Java server-- the old models do not get erased.
The models that I remove from the project get eliminated from the design environment (Eclipse). However, for some reason, they seem to linger on in the WAS Java that I deploy the project on.
What is the best way for me to remove models from projects and from the runtime?
Thank you,
- Vik.
Hi
What do u mean by Model remains on SAP Was for java. When you delete the models and run the application are you still getting the same ouput. Is that what you are asking.
Note : But in the current versions this does not seem to happen. We havent faced the problem. Dont know which version of WEB As you are using
If so then there is a problem with Metadata cache refresh.
Go to SDM and then undeploy the component.
Then Rebuild the Component again and deploy it. That should be ok.
If all this fails try restarting the J2EE server. But this is only the last solution. Mostly if you undeploy from SDM and Build and redeploy your component it should work fine.
regards
ravi
