about , language conversion

How can we convert one form into other speciic language, i saw diff forums, but i didn't get the output. Plz explain in detail.

Hi chandra,

Once a form is developed in certain language it will be automatically converted to all the languages.what all u need to do is maintain the ordinary texts to be displayed in particular language.

Go to TCODE <b>SE63</b>.

<b>Choose Translation->R/3 enterprise->other long texts->Smartforms.</b>

Specify the form name and choose the target language and maintain the text in that particular language.

Hi Chandra,

First open the form whichever you want to change to a specific langauge. In the <b>form attributes</b> under the <b>global settings</b> , you can find the <b>Language Attributes</b>, under that click on the Translate to selected langauges, and immedaitely a pop-up screen appears with the list of languages.

Select the required langauge and save and activate the form.

Hi Chandra,

First open the form into other language, then utilities>convert original language.

suppose already form exist in the english language, u want it convert to DE.Then now open the form in english language and select utilities>convert original language. Now popup window will displayed. in that enter target language as DE then continue. Now form will convert into DE language.
